All about your "NEW" iPhone

Do you have a smart phone? Is it an iPhone? Nowadays, more and more people chose smart phone over regular phones because they are “smart”! I used to have a BlackBerry smartphone, but I changed it to an iPhone 4s just for the novelty, and then changed to an iPhone 5. And the new iPhone 5s just came out…. and I think I don't have much to critic on the new iPhone 5s…
When I got my iPhone 5, it was such a disappointment since all the rumors of new iPhone 5 will have a wider display; it came out just taller screen…. We all know Apple is really good at confidentiality, but that was way far from the rumors…
There have been fewer instances of wild rumors. Instead, it's been based more around pragmatism, using either tangible leaks or sources that have a solid track record. Think of the perennial leaks from the Wall Street Journal or the increasingly well-established sourcing from iMore and The Loop. Whether you're conspiracy-minded or not, it's been hard to ignore the sheer number of claims that have tamped down expectations rather than inflated them. It's as though there's a collective fear we'll see a repeat of the 2011 hysteria and deal with fans (or detractors) complaining about missing features that were never promised in the first place.
Well, since the new iPhone 5s and 5c have not changed a lot for their outlooks; let’s look forward for the new generations of our iPhones’ future, and what we can do with taller screen display! It seems so helpful!

What do people do with their longer iPhones?

What do we expect for the future iPhones?

3D Printing

Have you heard about 3D printing? It might not new to everyone. I’m an architecture student, we have a big 3D printer in our college, I’ve been using it for school project for years, and I can only say it is AWESOME! It works like magic! You need to create a 3D digital model with several different kinds of software, such as Rhinoceros, Grasshopper and AutoCAD. Then put the 3D designed files into the printer program, and let it run!
The way it works is using an additive process, the machine has a little pointer where successive layers of material are laid down in different shapes on the base. There are some different kinds of materials you can use for 3D printing, such as plastic, clay, and even brass metal. I believe there will be more materials we can use later!
The uses of 3D printing are very vast. It can be used in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, industrial design, aerospace, military, fashion, jewelry, dental and medical, education, geographic information system, and so many other fields. But the only problem is it’s too expensive right now! And it’s kind of time consuming, you need check on the status every few hours. The machine we have in our college is charged us based on the how much material we used and how long it took… it is smart to use, but too pricey.
Another little thing 3Dooler pen, it is also a 3D printing machine, just way smaller. The pen that melted the material inside the pen then cooled through a patented process while moving through the pen, which means you can make 3D projects by hand. Isn’t it cute and awesome!

Future Technology

Our technology has been exploring rapidly, how is our future will be with high-tech products everywhere. I have been dreaming to live in a high-technology world like those ones in the movies. But how long will that take until we see something like that in the real life? I did some research of ‘future technology’, I found this company Corning that working on projects we have dreamed for years; and this will not take too long.

In our future, high-tech products will connect every detail of our living places with world and us. Almost every surface being a touch screen and having multi-function; it’s unbreakable, unscratchable, and dirt-free. You can cut the vegetables at the kitchen counter top in the morning, by the same time it’s playing the live news with weather display. You have a closet that has a touch screen mirror, where you can try your close on without really do it; this could be super helpful for clothes shopping. And so much more!

One of the most important things in the classroom, it can help teacher to get the students’ attention by having an interesting desk with display on it. Teacher can control the work on everyone’s “desktop” and also get data how long does each student focus in one class and what did they do in class. This is so much fun even think about it, it will apply to our life eventually; by that time is the high-tech going to help us? Or like in the movie, they will become too smart to fight back human? I’m going too far… XD anyway, I’m still looking forward to it!!!
